Uses:(S)-Tenofovir is an S-enatiomeric derivative of Tenofovir. (S)-Tenofovir displays virucidal activity against herpes, visna virus and retrovirus. The S enantiomer of Tenofovir is less effective against HIV than their (R)-enantiomeric counterparts.
